1. This revisional application seeks expeditious disposal of MAT Suit No. 970 of 2019 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track-3rd Court, Barasat, North 24 Parganas.

2. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner's submits that the aforesaid suit has been filed by the petitioner for dissolution of marriage under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 but the suit has not made any substantial progress despite the same having been instituted seven years back.

3. It is further submitted that an application under Order 1 Rule 10(2) of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 filed by the opposite party is also pending adjudication before the learned Trial Court.

4. In view of the nature of the order proposed to be passed, prior service of notice of the revisional application along with a notice is not being directed, however, the petitioners shall remain obliged to serve a copy of the revisional application along with a copy of this order upon the opposite parties within

a week from date.

5. Having heard the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners and having perused the material on record, this revisional application is disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track, 3rd Court, Barasat, North 24 Parganas to dispose of MAT Suit No. 970 of 2019 along with the connected interlocutory applications, if any, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one year from the next date fixed without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

6. CO 811 of 2026 stands disposed of with the above observations. No Costs.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
