The petitioner's application for transfer has been rejected by the District Inspector of Schools and the School Service Commission on the ground that she is a single teacher in the school.

Since the single teacher bar is no longer applicable in view of the notification dated 3rd January 2022, the petitioner's application for transfer rejected by the District Inspector of Schools and the School Service Commission is stand set aside.

The matter remanded back to the concerned District Inspector of Schools to consider afresh in terms of the 2015 Rules as amended.

Let the petitioner's application be disposed of by all the authorities in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
