Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the information which was furnished on or about 28th February, 2025 to the Officer-in-Charge, Parnashree Police Station was not acted upon.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that police authorities have already registered a case being Parnashree Police Station Case No.179 dated 06.03.2025 under the relevant provisions of BNS. Learned advocate for the respondent nos.4 and 5 submits that before taking any action in respect of the subject matter referred to, particularly

the CPU and the Bills, the local police station was informed.

Be that as it may, if there are documents in custody of the private respondents they would produce before the investigating agency concerned. In view of the steps taken by the police authorities, I am of the opinion that the purpose for which the writ petition has been preferred is subserved. As such, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. Police authorities would effectively conduct the investigation and take the same to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 5346 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
