Petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.1,23,000/- as undertaken by him against the bill for unmetered consumption to the tune of Rs.2,36,340/-.

Learned counsel for the Electricity Company submits that petitioner has deposited the aforesaid amount. In view of the aforesaid fact and in the light of the nature of allegations, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a Bond of Rs. 2,000/- with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
