Rabana ...for the WBSEDCL Although none appears for the petitioner when the matter is called on for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the Distribution Licensee as well as the State submit that the issue raised in the writ petition has already been resolved in view of an electricity connection having been given to the petitioner in the meantime.

Learned counsel appearing for the State also hands over a report authored by the Inspector-inCharge, Techno City Police Station, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate, in support of his contention. Since none appears for the petitioner to move the matter and in view of the joint submission made by

learned counsel appearing for the State as well as the Distribution Licensee, the writ petition need not be unnecessarily kept pending further.

Accordingly, W.P.A. No. 5138 of 2022 is disposed of as infructuous, without any order as to cost. The report filed by the State in Court today be kept on record.
