Mr. Lakshminath Bhattacharya ....for the petitioner Ms. Rama Halder Mr. Ashok Kr. Sarkar ....for the State Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the authorities in not furnishing the information sought for by the petitioners under the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

Since an appellate remedy is provided under the Right to Information Act, 2005, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

Faced with such submission, Mr. Bhattacharya, learned advocate for the petitioner prays for leave to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate forum.

In the light of the submission made by Mr.

Bhattacharya, WPA 5718 of 2026 stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law.

There will be no order as to costs.
