Petitioner along with two others apparently were involved in an incident of assault on a couple. The husband suffered injuries by sharp cutting weapon. The wife was also assaulted and her modesty was sought to be outraged.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 1011 of 2023 is dismissed.
