Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. The petitioner has approached this Court for removal of goods of the private respondent. To that effect, representation was furnished.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner requires police assistance because he is an aged person.

The police authorities are not authorised to interfere in respect of any relationship arising out of lease and licence agreement. The petitioner is having an alternative and efficacious remedy before the civil court. The petitioner would exhaust such provisions.

In the circumstances, I do not find any scope for exercising the powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 5468 of 2025 is dismissed.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
