But, in spite of receipt of such notice, the petitioner did not turn up, as such, the police authorities were unable to take any steps.

In view of the aforesaid, I direct that if the petitioner approaches the Jibantala Police Station, the enquiry officer will record the statement of the petitioner, collect document(s), if any in the possession of the petitioner, thereafter, if he is of the opinion that a cognizable offence is made out, then take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 5377 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
