....For the Alleged Contemnor This is a contempt proceeding arose from an order dated December 19, 2022 passed by this Court. Today, Ms. Usha Maity, learned counsel (on virtual mode) along with Mr. Sakya Maiti (on physical mode) appeared for the alleged contemnor and submitted a compliance report in the form of an affidavit affirmed on August 2, 2023, the same is taken on record.

A copy of the compliance report has also been served upon Mr. Sk. Samim Akhtar, learned advocate appeared for the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner on perusal of the compliance affidavit has also confirmed this Court that, the direction of this court dated December 19, 2022 stands fully complied.

In view of the above, nothing survives in this contempt proceeding and, accordingly, this contempt proceeding stands dropped.

The contempt application, CPAN 295 of 2023 stands disposed of without any order as to costs. It is noted that no rule was issued in the proceeding.
