The present revisional application has been preferred against an order dated 17.02.2020 passed by the Learned Sessions Judge at Alipore, in C.M.C. No. 624 of 2020 and C.M.C. No. 627 of 2020 thereby granting anticipatory bail to the petitioners in connection with Ballygunge Police Station Case No. 195 of 2019 dated 21.12.2019 under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act inter alia on the condition that the petitioners shall report to the investigating officer of Ballygunge Police Station twice in a week till submission of report by the Investigating Officer. Charge sheet has not been submitted till date. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are residents of Haryana and Delhi and they have been reporting to the Investigating Officer twice a week in this case since February, 2020.

The present case relates to the offences punishable under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code and is dated

21.12.2019. The order granting the anticipatory bail is dated 17.02.2020.

There is no adverse report submitted by the State against the petitioners.

Accordingly, the condition to meet the Investigating Officer of this case twice in a week in the order dated 17.02.2020 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Alipore, South 24 Pargans, in C.M.C. No.624 of 2020 and C.M.C. No. 627 of 2020, is hereby waived.

The criminal revision being CRR 838 of 2020 stands disposed of.

All connected applications, if any, stands disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Let a copy of the order be sent to the learned trial court for compliance.

Learned counsel for the State to inform the status of this case to the concerned authority.
