Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners applied for no-objection from the Principal Secretary, West Bengal Tourism Department to start adventure sports in Mondermoni and Digha Sea Beach. The application has not been considered till date. In the interest of development of tourism this court directs the writ petitioners to make a fresh representation to the Director, West Bengal Tourism Department for no objection to carry out such activity within a period of 15 days.

Upon receipt of such application from the petitioners, the Director, West Bengal Tourism Department shall consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law and practice within a period of three months from the date thereof.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no other as to costs.
