Records reflect that the examination under Section 251 Cr.P.C. is yet to be completed.

Learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court, Sealdah is directed to overcome the process of Section 251 Cr.P.C. on the next do fixed or within a month thereafter. Learned trial court would thereafter fix at least one date in every 60 days so that trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. Needless to state that the legislature has expressed its intention of expeditious disposal of case of such nature, keeping this in mind the learned magistrate would ensure progress of the case.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 831 of 2023 is disposed of.

The petitioner would be at liberty to take out appropriate application for interim compensation in case there is further delay in the proceedings.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
