Record reveals that on 7th April, 2021 when the matter was last taken up for hearing, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Today also, the petitioner is unrepresented. No accommodation has been sought for on behalf of the petitioner though Mr. Bose, learned Advocate appears for the CESC Ltd. 2.

The issue involve in this writ petition pertains to a selection process initiated in 2016. I am informed that after that selection process, three other selection processes were initiated by the Board.

In view of the above, I am of the considered opinion that with the passage of time, the writ petition has become infructuous and consequently the same stands dismissed. (Partha Sarathi Chatterjee, J.)
