The petitioner is an unmarried daughter of a Head Teacher of a Primary School. She seeks family pension.

The District Inspector of Schools (Primary Education), Purba Medinipur has forwarded a Memo No.-322/P dated 12th August, 2024 which mentions that she is eligible to get family pension subject to production of certain documents. Let a copy of the Memo be handed over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner.

The District Inspector of Schools (Primary Education), Purba Medinipur is directed to process the

pension file of the petitioner immediately on receipt of the documents from the petitioner and ensure that family pension is actually disbursed in her favour at the earliest but positively within a period of ninety days from the date of submission of all documents. The respondent nos. 5 and 6 namely the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance and the Treasury Officer, Contai, District: Purba Medinipur respectively shall take necessary consequential steps for implementing the order passed hereinabove.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
