,, Mr. Mukteswar Maity ... for the petitioner Mr. Susovan Sengupta Mr. Subir Pal ... for the State This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in considering his representation dated August 21, 2019.

Mr. Sengupta, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that the advertisement for filling up the vacancy was cancelled by notification No.2643FS/O/Sectt./Food/61782/2015 dated August 17, 2015. He however, concedes that the petitioner may not have been informed by the authority of the said cancellation. In light of the above, the representation of the petitioner should be looked into and the petitioner should be communicated the fate of the vacancy notification within the period of two weeks from date.

With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition is called for, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
