Mr. Lal Ratan Mandal ...for the petitioner Mr. Chandi Charan De Mrs. Srilekha Bhattacharya ..for the State The grievance of the petitioners is that their land was acquired by the State Authorities for constructing national highway but neither any notice of such acquisition was served upon them, nor compensation paid to them for this purpose. The petitioners submitted a representation to that effect before the Special Land Acquisition Collector, Purulia on December 21, 2018 which is yet to be disposed of.

The petitioners pray for a direction upon the concerned authority to dispose of their representation at the earliest.

Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties and the material on record, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction upon the respondent no. 4 to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioners on December 21, 2018 within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order, after giving

reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the affected parties including the petitioner, in accordance with law. With the above observations and directions this writ petition being WPA No. 4434 of 2019 is disposed of. There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted.
