Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, the petitioners were falsely implicated. There was a dispute with regard to a tractor.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the injury report. He also draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.). The victim suffered grievous injury. He was required to undergo a CT Scan. The CT Scan report, inter alia, suggests that the victim suffered depressed fracture - left posterior parietal bone with soft tissue swelling.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein as transpiring from the materials made available in the case diary and notwithstanding the fact that the police filed charge-sheet, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1397 of 2022 is dismissed.
