Mrinmoy Khan & ORS. v. State Of West Bengal & ORS.
AD. 13.
February 2, 2021.
MNS.
W. P. A. 4363 of 2020 (Via video conference) Mrinmoy Khan and others Vs.
The State of West Bengal and others Mr. Tara Pada Das ... for the petitioners.
Mr. Sudipta Panda, Ms. Munmun Tewari ...for the respondent-authorities.
The initial grievance of the petitioners was that the name of the petitioners was not being forwarded by respondent no. 4 in connection with a land loser employment scheme. Such grievance was restricted, at the time of initial submission, to the name of the petitioner no. 5. However, learned counsel appearing for both sides submit today that the respondent no. 4, that is the District Magistrate, has already forwarded the name of petitioner no. 5 to the respondent no. 2.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the respondent no. 2 is yet to forward such name to the local employment exchange, which is holding up the imminent
employment of the petitioner no. 5 under the said scheme.
Justice will be sub-served if respondent no. 2 is directed to forward such name of petitioner no. 5 immediately to the local employment exchange.
Accordingly, W. P. A. 4363 of 2020 is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 2, that is, the Director of Employment Exchange, Exempted Category Cell, Government of West Bengal, to forward the name of petitioner no. 5 in terms of the land loser employment scheme to the local employment exchange within ten days from date.
Respondent no.
is to act on communication by learned advocates and/or server copy of this order without insisting upon prior production of certified copy thereof.
There will be no order as to costs.
Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
