This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in considering the prayer for higher pay scale from the last date of examination of the Post Graduate degree.

Mr. Ali, counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the school wherein the petitioner is employed has informed the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Purba Medinipur, Tamluk by a communication dated September 29, 2015 with regard to consideration of the case of the petitioner.

Upon hearing the parties, I direct the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Purba Medinipur, Tamluk to

consider the application of the petitioner after granting an opportunity of hearing to the him within a period of four weeks from date.

The reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week of passing of the same.

Furthermore, upon passing of the reasoned order, consequential benefits should follow within a period of two weeks from the date of passing of the same. 6.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. 7.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition is called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
