Affidavit of service filed by the petitioners is taken on record.

None appears for the Panchayat despite service. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are the heirs of Sumati Parahi who is their mother and expired on 4th September, 2025. The petitioners applied for issuance of heirship certificate before the Pradhan, Turka Gram Panchayat, being the 5th respondent herein on 13th November, 2025. No certificate has been granted till date.

Upon hearing the submission made on behalf of the parties, the 5th respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioners on 13th November, 2025 and issue heirship certificate as sought by the petitioners upon assessing the contention of the petitioners.

The entire exercise shall be completed within four weeks from the date of communication of the order. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
