Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a delivery person of Indian Oil Corporation. The petitioner was dealing with the public as such. The petitioner was falsely implicated. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the petitioner along with another person were running a racket of illegally filling up gas cylinder and selling them at a premium to the unsuspecting members of the public. He submits that other co-accused was denied anticipatory bail by this Hon'ble Court.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 1400 of 2022 is, thus, dismissed.
