Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners.

The petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that police authorities were not properly investigating Kolkata Leather Complex Police Station Case No. 06 of 2025 dated 08.01.2025 and as such has approached this Court.

State has submitted a report which reflects that on conclusion of investigation, charge-sheet has been submitted in connection with the said case under Sections 126(2)/118(1)/351(2)/54 of BNS, 2023.

The petitioners have also prayed that because of the act and action of the employees, they are unable to enter the office.

The said report also reflects that there is a round o'clock police patrolling operational inside

the compound of Calcutta Leather Complex and a strict vigil is also maintained in the area.

In case the petitioners are unable to enter their office, police authorities would assess the reasons and thereafter, if required, ensure that the petitioners are able to enter the office.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 5481 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
