Learned advocate representing the Gram Panchayat submits, upon instruction that, the said EAuction has been cancelled. 3.

It appears that the auction was published for felling 1055 eucalyptus trees.

The Gram Panchayat is restrained from taking any steps for felling trees de hors the provisions of law.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
