The contempt application arises out of an order dated 29th July, 2004 passed in WP 21625 (W) of 1997. It appears that a Rule was issued on 22nd February, 2006. On 5th August, 2021 when the matter was taken up, Indranil Nandi, a learned advocate appeared on behalf of the applicant/petitioner and sought for an adjournment. The matter was adjourned and directed to appear in the list on 16th August, 2021. Learned advocate was also directed to take instructions in the matter. No one appears on behalf of the applicant/petitioner today. No one on behalf of the applicant/petitioner has also applied for joining the proceedings in the virtual mode. The contemnor also remains unrepresented even today.

In the facts and circumstances as aforesaid, it appears that none of the parties are interested in proceeding with the matter. The contempt application is disposed of without any further order.

The Rule stands discharged.
