The said report reflects that the accused was produced after execution of the warrant of arrest and it has been informed to the learned advocate for the State that he has been released on bail. Having regard to the fact that the grievance of the complainant is the manner in which the accused person has been evading the process of law and not allowing the proceeding under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act to proceed, I direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, 7th Court, Alipore on and from 15.07.2024, in connection with C. Case No. 1094 of 2022, would fix one date in a fortnight till the process of Section 251 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is completed. Thereafter, the learned Magistrate would fix one date in a month for the purposes of trial of the case till the same is taken to its logical conclusion. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 899 of 2024 is disposed of.
Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
