The State of West Bengal and ors.

1. None appears on behalf of the petitioner on call. No accommodation is sought for.

2. This case pertains to the year 2010. Almost 15 years have already passed.

3. The instant writ petition has been filed by the writ petitioner seeking direction upon the respondent authorities not to give any effect or further effect and not to act and/or proceed with the advertisement no. 3 of 2008 dated 4.12.2008 (being Annexure P-3 of the writ petition) issued by the respondent no. 3 i.e., the Secretary, West Bengal College Service Commission for filing of the post of Lecturers of the Non-government Aided College affiliated to State Universities of West Bengal in Bengali subject.

4. Considering the nature of prayer and long pendency of this case as well as the conduct of the petitioner, this court finds that the

petitioner is no more interested in pursuing the instant writ petition on the ground that either the purpose of filing the writ petition has been resolved or the petitioner has abandoned his prayer.

5. In view of the above facts, the instant writ petition being WPA 4069 of 2010 is dismissed without any order as to costs.

6. Consequently, the connected application, if any, is also, thus, disposed of.

7. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

8. All parties shall act in terms of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

9. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties taking all legal formalities.
