Liberty is given to correct the cause title of the instant petition.

On the basis of a written complaint filed by the father of a married daughter, Gobardanga Police Station Case No.15 of 2021 dated 23rd January, 2021 under Section 498A/325/308/34 of the Indian Penal Code was registered.

The present petitioner is the husband of the victim lady. He is in custody for about 38 days. Other accused persons who are the matrimonial relations of the victim lady are absconding. It is ascertained from the injury report, which is made part of the C.D. that the victim sustained fracture in the little finger of

right hand along with other injuries on her person on being assaulted by the present petitioner and other matrimonial relations.

Considering the nature of allegation and mal treatment of the victim by the petitioner in his house, I am not inclined to release him on bail at this stage.

Prayer for bail is, thus, rejected at this stage. C.D. be returned.
