The petitioners filed the present writ petition seeking direction for expeditious hearing of the case pending before the West Bengal Land Reforms Tribunal (for short 'the Tribunal').

Copy of the order passed by the Tribunal dated November 07, 2019 was placed on record, in which the next date of hearing was fixed on June 25, 2020. The aforesaid date of hearing is already over. The matter is still pending. As the country is suffering from Covid 19 pandemic since March 2020, no case is made out for a direction for expeditious hearing by the Tribunal.

The petition is dismissed.
