1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept with the record.

2. The petitioners have applied for transfer of their wards and relatives, who are presently in custody at Presidency Correctional Home and Baruipur Correctional Home, to Barrackpore Correctional Home.

3. Counsel for the petitioners submits that his clients' relatives, who are senior citizens, reside in Barrackpore and it would be easier for them to meet the accused persons. He further submits that the accused persons have been charged under Sections 302/307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act.

4. Admittedly, charge-sheet has been submitted in the matter.

5. This Court is of the view that the Superintendent of Presidency Correctional Home may take appropriate decision in the matter in accordance with law and

Rules within a period of two months from date on the request of the petitioners.

6. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7. There will be no order as to costs.

8. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
