The petitioner has prayed for payment of arrear dues of provident fund for an amount of Rs.9704/- and also other deposited amount for which he made one representation through his learned advocate on 11th January, 2021. This letter is annexure 'P-6' of the writ application. The petitioner's grievance today is that the Provident Fund Commissioner has not taken any step in respect of this representation uptil now though two months have passed in the meantime.

In such circumstances, though despite service nobody has appeared for the respondent/Provident Fund Commissioner, I direct the Commissioner to consider the matter within a period of eight weeks from date after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his authorised representative and to communicate the decision within a

period of two weeks thereafter.

With the above order, the writ application is disposed of without any order as to costs.

The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this order to the Commissioner of Provident Fund.
