......for the petitioner The petitioner is a primary school teacher. She retired from service on 30th September, 2008 and PPO was issued in her favour on 19th September, 2008. She seeks interest on account of delayed payment of terminal dues in view of the Revision of Pay and Allowances, 2009.

The Court is of the view that the petitioner has approached this Court after more than twelve years from the date of ROPA, 2009 being effective. On account of the unexplained delay of more than twelve years, the Court is not inclined to allow the prayer of the writ petitioner.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties as expeditiously as possible.
