This is an application under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code , 1973 seeking quashing of another proceeding in Baguihati P.S. Case No. 1440 dated 4.12.2016 under Sections 509/506 of the Indian Penal Code and cognizance has been taken by the Magistrate and the case is now pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate at Barasat, North 24-Parganas . It appears that the petitioner is no more interested to proceed with the case. Accordingly, the case is dismissed for default. Interim order , if any, stands vacated.
