Affidavit of service filed in Court be taken on record. The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the final assessment dated 3rd February, 2021.

The respondent distribution company is represented and submits that the petitioner has statutory alternative efficacious remedy under Section 127 of the Electricity Act, 2003.

In view of the statutory alternative remedy available, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition. WPA 6336 of 2021 is disposed of by directing the petitioner to approach the alternative statutory remedy available to him within a period of two weeks from date.

With the aforesaid direction WPA 6336 of 2021 stands disposed of.

However, there will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
