As prayed for, leave is granted to the learned Advocate-on-record for the petitioner to add the Commissioner of School Education as party respondent to the writ petition. Mr. Vaisya, learned Additional Government Pleader since is appearing on behalf of the State, no further notice need be served upon the added respondent.

Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner be kept with the record.

The petitioner is the Assistant Teacher at a school under Nadia District Primary School Council.

The petitioner had B.Ed. as her training qualification before joining the service. She is complaining that she is not getting A-Category Scale of Pay for not having six months Bridge Course from a recognized institution.

Mr. Dasgupta, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that similarly placed teachers have been given the benefit of 'A' Category Scale of Pay.

He prays that the issue may be relegated to the Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal, the added respondent no. 9 herein, for consideration.

The added respondent no. 9 is directed to consider the prayer of the petitioner for 'A' Category Scale of Pay in accordance with law and to facilitate such consideration;

the petitioner is directed supply the complete copy of the writ petition to the added respondent no. 9. The added respondent no.9 shall make all endeavour to complete his exercise in this regard as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

W.P.A. 5572 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs. Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
