The petitioners complain that due to late publication of their TET result in November, 2018 they could not submit documents in terms of the notification dated 2nd November, 2017 of their results in TET 2014. 2.

It is submitted by Mr. Mukherjee, learned counsel for the petitioners that had the Board published TET result before 2017 they could have submitted their documents and would have been eligible for the recruitment process immediately thereafter.

This Court notes that the petitioners have been silent since 2018 till 2024, when the writ petition has been filed for the first time challenging alleged communication on the part of the Board in considering their documents.

It further appears that since the last communication that too with the Joint Secretary of the School Education Department was made in August 2017, this Court is of the view that the petitioners are guilty of inordinate delay and laches.

No relief can be granted to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.

7.

There shall be no order as to costs.
