The petitioner complains of sound pollution which is causing disturbance and to that effect, informed the police authorities. According to the petitioner, necessary permission was not obtained for running the business where envelopes are prepared.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that police on inspection, could not find that there was any violation of the decibel limits fixed by the Pollution Control Board.

Learned advocate for the private respondent no.6 is present.

In view of the anxiety expressed by the petitioner, the petitioner will file his representation before the West Bengal Pollution Control Board who would conduct an inspection and thereafter, if they find any violation, inform the police authorities to take appropriate action.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 5600 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
