Counsel for the West Bengal Medical Council submits that the Penal and Ethical Committee has completed the enquiry on the petitioner's complaint and has submitted a report to the Council. The West Bengal Medical Council is due for its meeting in course of this month.

It is ordered that the report of the Penal and Ethical Committee shall be placed before, and final decision shall be taken by the West Bengal Medical Council mandatorily and positively by 30th April 2022. Any further steps pursuant to the Council's decision may be taken thereafter.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
