Ms. Rakshit, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, upon instruction, submits that with the passage of time the writ petition has become infructuous and hence, the writ petitioner does not want to proceed any further with the present writ petition.

In view thereof, the writ petition and the connection application are dismissed for non-prosecution. The interim order, if any, shall stand vacated. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
