And In the matter of: Ajay Pal ...... petitioner Mr. Soumyajit Das Mahapatra, Ms. Madhurai Sinha ...for the petitioner Mr. Swapan Banerjee, Ms. Purnima Ghosh ...for the State Petitioner claims to be a driver of the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle filed the police complaint claiming that the petitioner illegally dealt with a portion of the goods. Given nature of the allegation and given fact that the investigating is yet to be completed, and given the fact that if the driver of the vehicle i.e. the petitioner is enlarged on anticipatory bail it may adversely affected the investigation, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail.

CRM (A) 1037 of 2023 is rejected.
