By an order dated 5th March, 2020, this Court directed the investigating agency to submit a report.

Mr. Sur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State has placed a report, submitted by the Officer-in-charge, Khardah Police Station. Let the same be kept on record. It appears from the said report that the petitioner had been absconding since 2014. A warrant of arrest was also issued against the petitioner and other accused persons.

It further appears that the petitioner's application for anticipatory bail was earlier rejected by an order dated 03.02.2020 passed in CRM no.1088 of 2020 and there had been no change in the facts and circumstances of the case thereafter. In view thereof, we are not inclined to exercise any discretion in favour of the petitioner and the application for anticipatory bail, being CRM 2432 of 2020, is dismissed.
