The allegation of the petitioner is that after joining the school in June, 2018 though he is getting his salary, his subsistence allowance for the suspension period has not been given to him.

The petitioner has also prayed for considering his grievance as to not granting him any increment for the suspension period.

I direct the District Inspector of Schools (Primary Education) to look into the matter and to take a decision as to payment of subsistence allowance to the petitioner within a period of three months from date. If necessary, the respondent no. 4, being the District Inspector of Schools (Primary Education) of South 24 Parganas, will give an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and thereafter he shall pass one reasoned order to be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks after the expiry of the three-month period as aforesaid.

With this direction this writ application is disposed of.
