Learned Counsel for the Petitioner after making submissions submit that he does not want to press the present petition. However, direction may be issued to the learned Appellate Court for disposal of the appeal on merits expeditiously.

In view of the submissions made the petition is disposed of as 'not pressed'. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case and no expression made herein shall tantamount to be an expression on the merits of the case. Learned Appellate Court is also directed to dispose of the Criminal Appeal No. 13 of 2024 expeditiously without any delay.

Accordingly, criminal revisional application stands disposed of.
