Bhattacharya, Ms. Mithu Singha Mahapatra ....for the petitioner Mr. Supriya Chattopadhyay, Mr. Pinaki Bhattacharyya .......for the State Dr. Sutanu Kumar Patra, Ms. Supriya Dubey ... for the WBCSSC The petitioner's application has been returned by the D.I. of Schools, to the Head of the Institution on the ground that the petitioner is the single teacher in the concerned school. Since the single teacher bar is no longer relevant in view of the amendment to the 2015 Rules on 03.01.2022, the cancellation and/or return to the petitioner's application shall stand set aside.

The D.I. of Schools, shall forward the petitioner's application to the School Service Commission and take steps strictly in terms of the 2015 Rules, as amended from time-to-time, within a period of six weeks from date.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
