Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, there was a dispute with regard to installation of a tubewell.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the injury report of the victim and to the statement of the injured recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.).

The injury suffered by the victim is grievous in nature. In the 161 Cr.P.C. statement of such victim, the petitioners are implicated.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1436 of 2022 is dismissed.
