Special Court in connection with South Port P.S. Case No. 185 of 2022, which is pending before the ld. Judge Bench-I, NDPS Act, City Sessions Court, Calcutta.

The ld. Special Court is directed to dispose of the bail application, finally, of the petitioner in accordance with law, if not already disposed of, within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order.

It would be trite to state that repeated extension of interim bail is not encouraged by the Court(s). The trial court and/or court in seisin of the bail application must give its final verdict on the issues relating to bail.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 902 of 2024 is disposed of.
