On prayer of the petitioner, Nita Datta be added as private opposite party no. 2 in the applications. The cause title of the applications be amended accordingly.

It appears from the report and is also submitted on behalf of the parties that the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties and the petitioner/ defacto complainant does not intend to proceed with the matter any further. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise. G.R. case no. 3531 of 2023 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Hooghly be quashed. The opposite parties be set at liberty at once and be discharged from their bail bonds.

The revisional application is disposed of.

Consequently CRAN 1 of 2025 is disposed of.
