Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 107 days and has been implicated on the basis of statement of co-accused. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that 2000 ampules of Buprenorphine injections have been recovered from the principal accused and there are CDRs connecting the present petitioner.

Having considered that the investigation at this stage is continuing, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. Petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court after the charge-sheet or report in final form is submitted by the investigating officer of the case.

The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 457 of 2026, is, thus, disposed of.
