This Court notes that the petitioner's complaint to the Deganga Police Station is in respect of cutting of trees and unauthorised occupation of his land by the private respondents.

Apart from the fact that no rights under Article 21 of the Constitution of India appear to have been affected, this Court notes that the dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents is purely civil in nature.

Appropriate civil proceedings should have been taken out.

The Court sees absolutely no urgency in the matter for being taken up under the heading "Senior Citizen Matters"

In those circumstances, the instant writ petition shall stand dismissed with costs assessed at Rs. 7,500/- payable by the petitioner to the Deganga Police Station.

The report of the Deganga Police Station dated 13.03.2023 be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
