And In Re : Taleb Ali & Anr.
..... petitioners Mr. Kallol Kumar Basu Md. Jannat Ul Firdous Ms. T. Majumdar .... for the petitioners Mr. Madhusudan Sur Mr. Manoranjan Mahata ... for the State Petitioners seek anticipatory bail.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, the incident arose out of property dispute. There is a counter case lodged on behalf of the petitioner also. The petitioners suffered injury in the incident.
Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the injury report of the two victims and their statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.).
The injury reports of the victims show that they suffered severe injury from sharp cutting weapon. The statement of the injured implicates both the petitioners in the incident. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1440 of 2022 is dismissed.
